Terms of Use

Play Session Zero is a social platform designed to help tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) players:

• Discover games.
• Recruit players.
• Organize game sessions.
• Communicate with one another.
• Share reviews based on genuine play experiences.

The Platform provides tools that allow users to connect with one another. Play Session Zero does not organize, supervise, endorse, or guarantee any game, event, campaign, or participant.

You must be at least 13 years old, or meet the minimum age required by the laws of your country, whichever is higher.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform where required by law.

By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Be responsible for all activity performed through your account.

You may not sell, transfer, or share your account with another person.

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload, including but not limited to:

• Profile information.
• Avatars.
• Game listings.
• Reviews.
• Messages.
• Comments.
• Other content submitted through the Platform.

By submitting content, you grant Play Session Zero a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit any content you upload.

Reviews are intended to reflect genuine tabletop roleplaying experiences.

Users agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading reviews.
• Review games they did not participate in.
• Coordinate review manipulation.
• Use reviews to harass, threaten, or intimidate others.

Reviews reflect the opinions of the users who write them and do not represent the views of Play Session Zero. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms.

The Platform may provide private messaging and other communication features. You are responsible for the content you send.

Private messages may be reviewed by authorized moderators only when reasonably necessary to investigate reports of abuse, illegal activity, or violations of these Terms, and only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Publish illegal content.
• Distribute malware or harmful software.
• Spam or create fraudulent accounts.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest user information without permission.
• Manipulate reviews, rankings, or reputation systems.

You also agree not to use the Platform for unlawful purposes.

Play Session Zero and its original content, software, branding, and design are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any portion of the Platform except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

The Platform may reference tabletop roleplaying game systems, publishers, trademarks, and other third-party intellectual property.

All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

References to game systems are provided for identification and compatibility purposes only and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

Users may report content or accounts believed to violate these Terms.

We reserve the right to investigate reports and take appropriate action, including:

• Removing content.
• Issuing warnings.
• Restricting features.
• Suspending accounts.
• Permanently terminating accounts.

Moderation decisions are made at our discretion.

We strive to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Features may change, be modified, or be removed at any time without prior notice.

Scheduled maintenance, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily interrupt access.

Play Session Zero helps users connect with one another but does not verify identities, conduct background checks, or guarantee the behavior of any participant.

Users are solely responsible for deciding whether to participate in any online or in-person game.

When meeting another user in person, exercise appropriate caution and use your own judgment.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Play Session Zero disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Play Session Zero and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to:

• Your use of the Platform.
• Interactions with other users.
• Participation in tabletop roleplaying games.
• User-generated content.
• Scheduling disputes, cancellations, or campaign outcomes.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may notify users through the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
